The year is winding down and so is the numbered series of Air Jordans. For 2009, Jordan Brand is taking another step forward into the legacy of the man and the brand beginning with the Air Jordan 2009.
A few photos of the upcoming Air Jordan 2009 have been floating around the web, but none quite this clear. Like every pair of Air Jordans, the Jordan 2009 has a unique design to offer that separates it from the rest of the shoes in the market, but the cut away section in the middle of the foot has been a divider for many so far.
What do you think of what you see? If there is anything consistent from year to year, its that the market tends to warm up to the new design as the release date approaches. After recently copping his 1000th pair of Air Force 1’s, Mayor,one of the most passionate AF1 sneakerheads out there, hasn’t missed a beat, and has recently hit up Nike Sportswear’s Nike iD Bespoke Studio in New York. The result of which you see here in the form of this fresh pair of Air Force 1’s.
The patent red accent colors on the swoosh, tongue and heel, sit a top a white translucent sole. The upper consists of a dark denim material, with offsetting gold stitching, that matches the buttery leather inner lining nicely. Mayor finished it off with his personalized stainless steel lacetag that reads “MYR”.

Here is another preview of a pair of Jordans set to release in 2009, these Air Jordan True Flights may remind you of the Air Jordan 7 (VII) and that is because they are inspired by them. The more noticeable resemblance would be in the overall silhouette of the shoe, and in this particular case the color scheme is the same as the Air Jordan 7 (VI) Orginal- Cardinals (White/ Black/ Cardinal Red). Los Angeles-based Crooks & Castles will be joining the sneaker game by collaborating with skate shoe giant Vans. Based on the Fremont High model, it will come in white and black colorways with Crooks’ red/green/black strap accents reminiscent of Gucci’s high-end design. These are scheduled to be released early spring of ’09 and will only be sold at the 8021 store.

The PHLY is a similar to the Blazer, kind of a vintage feel with upgraded technology to keep your feet a little more comfy. This PHLY (no pun intended) colorway was inspired by the white, varsity red and cement Air Jordan 3. As with other versions of the PHLY, the wings logo is applied on the ankle and on the back of the ankle it reads MCMLXXVIII aka 1978, the year Jordan first met Pop Herring, MJ’s high school coach, who inspired these kicks.
You can already scoop these on eBay for about $80, but retail stores should have them on the shelves now as well.

Everything is opened [and activated] by touch. The lights compose symbols made out of LED’s, in this way the car has it’s own identity at night. This associates the car with its parent company, identifying it uniquely as the Peugeot Touch.
